In HubPro Premium, editors will make every attempt to collaborate with you before adding significant information to your articles. When the editor is finished with an article, it will be unlocked and considered “done.” Some articles may be edited over a longer period of time, and editors will ensure that articles are left in a presentable state each time they save changes to a capsule.

No. Hubbers selected to participate in either tier will receive an email notification before editing will begin and a second notice on the day that editing begins. Editing is done on a piece-by-piece basis. You still retain the rights to your articles after they are edited and editors will not make significant changes to your content without emailing you first.
In HubPro Basic, editors will not be adding any information to articles.

Can I revert changes that were made by the editor?
Editors will focus their fact-checking efforts on things like: numbers and math, names, titles, locations, and definitions. Visit our About Us page to read a little more about each editor’s background.
We do not recommend reverting edits done by your editor, as we have put extensive thought and research into our edits. Our editors do extensive research on the article topic to help build out the content. However, articles that are changed extensively after edits are completed, and that live on Network Sites, could be moved back to HubPages.
Can I opt out of HubPro?
Yes. Additionally, editors may email you with clarification questions about the information in your articles. Locking does not interfere with traffic or user experience; anyone visiting the page will see the current version, including any edits up to that moment. However, they will identify the important keywords in your articles and will make an effort to preserve them so that you do not lose traffic. The program includes two tiers of editing: Basic and Premium. This allows only one person to edit at a time and ensures that the changes that we make can be recorded.
Editing for formatting that reflects the HubPages Style Guide, e.g., providing a consistent style free of broken videos, low-quality photos, and elements that take away from the authority of the article. Fact checking is only offered through HubPro Premium.
HubPro Editing is a mandatory service, and Hubbers do not have the option to opt out of the service should their article(s) be selected. More obscure topics, such as paranormal activity, will likely not be fact checked. The number of pieces edited will vary by account.
If I am selected to participate in HubPro, will all of my articles be edited?

Your article will be locked while it is being edited. This is because HubPro Premium entails more in-depth editing such as commissioning images and adding content.

Editors will also research topics related to your main keywords where content can be added and may add content that drives readership. Despite these general guidelines, editors will use their discretion when determining whether or not to fact check a piece of information. They may add supplementary enhancement capsules (e.g., polls, videos, tables) and photos or illustrations, and put a lot of thought and research into adding written content.

HubPro is a free professional editing service provided by HubPages. You will also be notified after the editor is done editing the eligible articles in your account.
